Present Perfect Tense exercises
Exercises:

A)Make sentences using the structure of present perfect.
1- (you / finish / your homework). You can watch TV now.

2- (she / just / have / a sandwich). She’s not hungry.

3- (I / see / that film). I don’t want to see it again.


4- (they / go / out). They aren’t at home.

5- (he / leave / his French book / at school). He can’t do his French homework.

6- (it / stop / raining). We can play football.

7- (she / not / wash / her jeans). They are really dirty.

8- (the cat / not / eat / its / food). I think it is ill.

9- (they / just / hear / the bad news). They are very worried.

10- (I / lose / my / keys). I can’t find them.

B)Fill in the blanks. Use the verbs in brackets.
I am old now, but I………………. (have) a very interesting life. I ………… (see) a lot of places and I……………. (do) many interesting things. I ………… (have) many adventures. I……………. (travel) around the world. I ………………… (sail) across the Atlantic Ocean. I……………… (visit) Australia. I ……………… (work) in a gold mine. I …………….(eat) snails in France. I …………….. (drink) kumiss in Turkmenistan. I …………. C) Change the sentences into the presen perfect tense
1) Did she drink it all?
2) She doesn’t like chocolate.
3) They took it away.
4) She isn’t taking up tennis.
5) I don’t drive a car.
6) He doesn’t sleep at all.
7) Jack came two hours ago. (use “just”)
